The Toledo, Ohio driver lead the entire distance on the ¼ high banked track and picked up the $2,000 pay day. Troy DeClaire finished second, followed by Dave Steele, Ryan Litt and Jason Blonde. The race had two aborted starts and on the third attempt they restarted single file. Jim Swain spun aborting the first start and Mike Larrison made contact with the front stretch wall and had to be towed off the track. McCune jumped to the lead from his pole position starting spot. DeCaire fell into the runner up spot followed by Litt, Pierce and Steele. Jeff Bloom brought out the caution on lap 37 when he spun off turn #2. The 61 year old Michigan driver kept his car going without any contact. Due to the number of laps run under caution, the field was red flagged so the cars could be refueled. Aaron Pierce spun in turn #2 bringing out the caution just as Steele had passed Litt for third. Steele was sent back to his previous position. The field was bunched up again on lap #50 when there was a scoring error by the flagman who felt the race had ended . Jason Blonde set a new track record and the starting field was inverted by 6 cars. Heat races of 10 laps each were won by Tim Cox, Dave Baumgartner Kyle Flait, while Troy DeCaire earned a transfer spot by winning the B-Main. Nick Hamilton won the Kenyon Midget feature event.
